Proud and Loud: Disability Art and Music Showcase September 19, 2026
Proud and Loud: Disability Art and Music Showcase takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 11am to 1pm at the Garfield Park Field House, 100 N. Central Park Avenue. Admission is free and all ages are welcome.
The showcase is a new collaboration between Genevieve Ramos and Crossing Borders Music. It brings performances from Chicago’s disability arts community, curated by Ramos, together with compositions presented by Garfield Park students. September is Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, and the program centers the visibility of disabled artists.
It is part of the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series.
