People is a solo exhibition by Zsófia Ötvös presenting new paintings of figures observed in Budapest, Hungary, this past summer. The works depict figures suspended on the verge of change, held in moments of quiet tension and restraint. The exhibition is on view throughout February 2026 at CSI ProjectSpace & Gallery, located at 1912 N. Damen Avenue in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood. Guest artist Melissa Kolbusz of WIRED Jewelry will present a selection of wearable works made from reclaimed and surplus materials.
