Join us on Thursday, July 30, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM for an adults-only evening at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Enjoy refreshments while exploring the museum’s exhibits after hours, including the Judy Istock Butterfly Haven, and meet some of our live animals up close!

Sip a special Nature Museum-themed brew while you explore your creative side at Nature Night Out!

Stop by our crafting stations for a relaxed sip-and-paint experience — celebrate summer by decorating a bird house or painting a flower pot while enjoying a drink and good company. Get a start on your pollinator garden by purchasing a tin of milkweed seeds while you’re here!

Whether you come with friends or make new ones, it’s a fun way to unwind and tap into your creativity.

Our Manager of Horticulture, Seth Harper, will be here giving guided nature walks of the trails around the museum. Take in the beauty of nature and learn from an expert!

Guests will also be treated to special Critter Connections at 7:00 and 8:00. These are a chance to meet one of the Nature Museum’s resident animals up close and learn more about them!

As a special bonus, the first 50 guests will receive a one-of-a-kind, branded Nature Night Out pint glass. We hope you’ll join us for an engaging evening of nature, creativity, and community.

Every ticket comes with 1 complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage! Additional beverages and snacks will be available for purchase.

Family and Family+ Members receive discounted admission to this event. Make sure you sign in to your member account before purchasing tickets!

Whether you can join us the whole time or for only an hour, you’re sure to enjoy your Nature Night Out!
