Home Chef Billy Zureikat aka Tripping Billy Joins Chicago’s Late-Night Talk Show
The Not That Late Show is a POC- and queer-led late-night talk show featuring an ensemble cast of Chicago comedians, who create new material every month. Hosted by Justin Swinson, the show takes place at The Lincoln Lodge every third Wednesday and showcases emerging local musicians alongside interviews with some of Chicago’s most notable voices. Past guests have included State Senator Mike Simmons, Stephanie Skora of the Girl, I Guess Progressive Voter Guide, and Medea Benjamin of the grassroots feminist organization CODEPINK.
This month we welcome Billy Zureikat — home cook, adaptive chef, and the force behind Tripping Billy. After a Parkinson’s diagnosis turned his life upside down, Billy found new purpose in the kitchen, creating bold, comforting dishes that celebrate resilience and flavor. He’s also an adaptive athlete and advocate, known for his viral basketball shots and honest storytelling. Come for the food talk, stay for the inspiration.
