Guest Chef Series Vol 14: Honoring James Beard June 13, 2026
Join us for an 8-course tasting menu at Charlie Trotter’s for a Friends James Beard Dinner! This one-night-only celebration brings together an exceptional group of chefs whose careers have shaped some of the world’s most influential kitchens. Throughout the evening, guests can expect a few surprises along the way. This dinner will benefit the James Beard Foundation.
About the Chefs:
DAVID BREEDEN spent nearly two decades at some of the most revered restaurants in the world, including The French Laundry and Per Se, where he served as Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef under Thomas Keller. He has since founded his own consulting firm, Guest Driven Hospitality.
FREDDY MONEY is the Executive Chef of Atlas, the Michelin-starred restaurant within the St. Regis Atlanta, as well as Executive Chef of The Garden Room and Nami. Raised in London, Chef Money has trained in some of Europe’s most celebrated kitchens, including Alain Ducasse at the Dorchester, La Terraza, El Bulli, and The Fat Duck.
CAROLYN NUGENT & ALEN RAMOS are the James Beard nominated chefs and founders of Poulette Bakeshop in Parker, Colorado. The husband-and-wife team met while working together at Joël Robuchon and continued their journey through legendary kitchens in Europe including The Fat Duck, El Bulli, and Pierre Hermé.
TREVOR TEICH is the Executive Chef Chicago’s esteemed private members club, The Astor Club. Previously, Chef Teich worked at Acadia and later earned a Michelin star for Claudia, where his cooking also received a 3.5-star review from The Chicago Tribune.
The evening will feature a wine pairing curated by Master Sommelier Serafin Alvarado or a non-alcoholic pairing by James Beard nominated mixologist Ryan Castelaz.
