The Trans Media Fashion Show celebrates inclusivity and self-expression, featuring designs that redefine beauty and authenticity. This show highlights the stories and styles of trans and gender-diverse communities, embracing each model’s unique identity.
The evening begins with a red carpet experience and cocktail reception at 5:30 PM, offering an exclusive preview of designer pieces to press, media, models, buyers, editors, stylists, PR organizations, VIPs, celebrities, and influencers.
Zahara Bassett, President and CEO of Life is Work, will host the event, bringing her dedication to LGBTQ+ rights in Chicago to the forefront.

For half a century, Howard Brown Health has been an essential pillar of the LGBTQ+ community, serving as the largest LGBTQ+ health center in the United States. In 1974, we embarked on a mission to address the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community. We’ve witnessed healthcare struggles and loss, while simultaneously seeing remarkable medical triumphs from our patients. Every milestone we have achieved over the last 50 years is a testament to the strength of our community. Celebrate BYC’s 20th Anniversary:
Founded in 2004, the Broadway Youth Center is proudly celebrating 20 years of service as a trusted resource for Chicago’s LGBTQ youth, ages 12-24. Over the past two decades, BYC has addressed the unique needs of this population by serving as an entry point to long-term, comprehensive care. In its 20th year, BYC remains committed to collaborating with its clients to identify their needs, set realistic goals, and take meaningful steps toward long-term stability and independence. As a safe and welcoming space, BYC empowers youth to access critical health and wellness resources while building a sense of community with peers who share similar identities and experiences. This milestone anniversary highlights BYC’s enduring impact and its dedication to serving the next generation of LGBTQ youth. – Broadway Youth Center
