Chicago Bronze Handbell Ensemble in Concert April 25, 2026

More info

Join us for a free concert by the esteemed handbell ensemble as they perform an exciting musical tribute to our favorite hometown, Chicago. The repertoire opens with a medley of two of the city’s anthems, Chicago That Toddlin’ Town and My Kind of Town, Chicago Is, arranged by the Ensemble’s Musical Director, Andrea Handley. The program continues with a reflection on our beloved inland sea, Lake Michigan. Two numbers tell the story of The Great Chicago Fire and the inspiring recovery that followed. The Ensemble explores Chicago’s winter weather, core identity, strong musical heritage, proud sports legacy and even the months of roadwork Chicagoans experience.

The group’s three Chicago area concerts offer music lovers in the metro area the opportunity to see and hear the unique sensory experience of a professional handbell performance.
