An Evening With South Chicago Dance Theatre May 1, 2026
South Chicago Dance Theatre presents its ninth annual home season concert and return to the Harris Theater For Music and Dance on May 1, 2026! The evening features 3 world premieres by the incomparable Bessie and Guggenheim award winning David Dorfman; Creative Director at San Francisco Symphony, choreographer, film maker and composer Natasha Adorlee, a new work from SCDT Resident Choreographer Kia S. Smith and a bonus –“It Begins” by Dance Magazine honoree Donald Byrd. This electric evening is paired with South Chicago Dance Theatre’s inaugural Legacy Builders Benefit. Legacy Builders are invited to attend an exclusive intermission reception with the artists and an after party at the venue following the performance.
