Maggie Gillette
Maggie Gillette is a Chicago based fashion industry professional, freelance writer, tv contributor, and four-time founder.
As a designer, she created a successful intimates brand ethically manufactured in NYC. Maggie then gained extensive organizational leadership experience when she launched and ran the most prominent independent intimates trade show for four years leading up to the pandemic.
At that time, she returned to her hometown of Chicago and, shortly thereafter, joined The Curio as a Principal in May of 2022. In 2025, Maggie became part of the team of industry experts that launched Chicago Fashion Vanguard, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting the local fashion community.
