Located along Logan Square’s flourishing Milwaukee Avenue corridor, Daisies is truly a family endeavor. Chef and owner Joe Frillman tailors the specific fruit and vegetable needs of the restaurant’s menu, in part, by collaborating with his brother, Tim, who owns and operates Frillman Farms. The close partnership cultivates an unprecedented farm-to-table dining experience.
Frillman centers his hyper-seasonal, ever-evolving dishes on regional vegetables, fruits and grains. Among the focus of his “root-to-fruit” approach, he’s minimizing waste and maximizing flavor. Frillman’s menu also features sustainable, humanely raised farm proteins. Daisies operates under a philosophy of warmth and sincerity, spotlights the true flavors of real ingredients and relishes the joy of hospitality in service.
Since its June 2017 opening, Daisies has been awarded the Jean-Banchet for best neighborhood restaurant and received a Michelin Bib Gourmand two years in a row, as well as has been recognized as a best new restaurant by Vogue, Forbes, and Chicago magazine.
