Chicago, IL [April 25, 2024] – Why Not Petites (WNP), a Chicago model collective dedicated to promoting a more inclusive fashion industry by celebrating non-traditional models, is pleased to announce the return of its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Spring Stylist Expo fashion show. Building on the success of its sold-out debut show in May 2023, Why Not Petites is excited to showcase a new group of designers and models to Chicago’s community.
The Spring Stylist Expo distinguishes itself with its exclusive focus on petite models, challenging conventional norms, and celebrating those who are underrepresented in the fashion industry. Six esteemed stylists and designers from Chicago will lend their expertise to curate unique looks that highlight the versatility and sophistication of petite fashion.
Scheduled for May 11th at 6:00 PM CST, the Spring Stylist Expo will be held at Live Bash on the north side in Chicago, IL. Attendees can anticipate a high-value production with engaging runway presentations, innovative styling, and a genuine community celebration.
Reynaldo Martinez, Founder and CEO of Done By Design, the production company supporting backstage, expressed his team is thrilled to work with new faces and emerging talents this May, and promised a breath-taking fashion experience sure to inspire the audience. The enduring partnership between Done by Design and Why Not Petites reflects unwavering support for their mission, advocating for petite models and dismantling the barriers and stigmas they face.

Why Not Petites is a group of petite models breaking barriers and societal norms in the fashion industry. Our mission is to encourage and support petite models of all shapes, sizes, and colors. Through our combined knowledge and experience in the modeling industry, we help guide experienced and beginner petite models along their journey to success. Our work includes opportunities for guest models to participate in professional photoshoots, networking with others in the industry, and access to top fashion photographers in the Chicagoland area.
