The Gwydion Theatre Company presents the final show of its first season. Waiting for Lefty is a one-act play by Clifford Odets’ comprised of a series of vignettes addressing the widespread effects of economic inequality and how the misfortune of many is manufactured for the benefit of some. The scenes of the play exist as memories of members of the New York Taxicab Union as they attempt to unite and form a labor strike.
Waiting For Lefty will run at the Greenhouse Theater Center Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 2:30 from February 8th until February 24th.
