Struttin’ with the Duke: An Ellington Tribute

Robin Watson (Jazzlady Robin) has blazed some of Chicago’s premier hotspots including Navy Pier, United Center, Peninsula Hotel, Como Inn, Jazz Showcase and area Casinos. As a vocal performance major at Spelman College, Atlanta, GA, she merited solo performances at the inauguration of President Jimmy Carter and the United Nations and toured Brazil, SA. Will Washington is an extraordinary trumpet/flugel horn player, vocalist and band leader. He has performed throughout North and South America, the Caribbean, Europe and Indonesia. Together they are an electrifying duo, celebrating the incredible music of Duke Ellington.
