Isidore Quartet

With the 2023 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the 14th Banff International String Quartet Competition victories to their name, Isidore Quartet, hailing from the esteemed Juilliard School, invites audiences to experience classical music through an innovative lens. This program connects past to present with a piece Mendelssohn wrote in 1838 to inspire religious contemplation, Benjamin Britten’s 1946 commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the death of Henry Purcell, and Dinuk Wijeratne’s 2022 true story of the 1911 theft of the Mona Lisa.
