American Writers Festival

Join us for the American Writers Festival at the Harold Washington Library Center in downtown Chicago on Sunday, May 19, co-presented by the American Writers Museum and Chicago Public Library. The event features over 70 writers from across the nation, spanning diverse genres. Delve into insightful panels covering topics such as Writing Memoir and Game Writing, and participate in community-driven activities for all ages, including book signings, arts & crafts, and writing exercises.

To further enhance the festival experience, the American Writers Museum is waiving museum admission fees on May 19, as part of its initiative to grant free access every third Sunday of the month in 2024.
