8th Chopin In the City Festival – Painting Chopin – A Music & Art Event
Chopin IN the City Festival is a unique annual event celebrating the life and genius of Frederic Chopin. It is presented in a diverse program of concerts, presentations, film screenings, and music workshops. The festival showcases various forms and styles of music including classical, jazz, and world music – all integrating Chopin’s compositions.
The festival events occur at various venues throughout Chicago Feb. 22nd – 25th, with a special performance celebrating Chopin’s birthday on March 1st.
