South Side Science Festival

The South Side Science Festival is a free, all-ages, community event that will bring together scientists from the University of Chicago and science enthusiasts from South Side neighborhoods and beyond to explore and celebrate science, forging new connections between campus and the broader South Side communities and demonstrating that science is for everyone!

Co-organized by UChicago’s Biological Sciences Division, Physical Sciences Division, Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering, and Office of Civic Engagement, the South Side Science Festival will feature a day of live experiments and demonstrations, outdoor science activities, inspiring exchanges with faculty and researchers, food trucks, music, and more!
