With a flourishing career highlighted by performances at the esteemed Jazz at Lincoln Center, jazz pianist and composer Emmet Cohen has distinguished himself as a beacon of contemporary jazz music. His dedication and passion for the genre are encapsulated in his groundbreaking signature project, the Masters Legacy Series, featuring recordings that celebrate the legacy of the genre’s most influential figures. His precision and fluid keyboard artistry has garnered international acclaim, including winning the 2019 American Pianists Award, and being named a finalist in the 2011 Thelonious Monk International Piano Competition.
