Deer Park Art Show: Deer Park, Illinois (8th Annual)

The 8th annual Deer Park Art Show at Deer Park Town Center features a unique showcase of innovative artists with a variety of mediums and price points including ceramics, paintings, sculptures, photography, jewelry, mixed media, drawings and more! Held on Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September 15, this show rocks to live music and is stroller-friendly, kid-friendly, and upbeat! The popular “Start to Paint” on site painting classes, face painting, a new self-portrait project, sand art, artist demonstrations, selfie stations, booth chats and interactive activities for kids add to the fun. Be sure to check out the “Kid Friendly” booths, where artists welcome children into their space to learn more about the art-making process! Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking. There are also several restaurants at Deer Park Town Center, so make time to enjoy a bite to eat before, during or after the show! Dogs are welcome if they are leashed and friendly. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s charitable partner, which is the Chicago Furniture Bank.
