2022 Bucktown Garden Walk Logo – Color

Neighbors and visitors of all ages can once again explore hidden gems that make Bucktown one of Chicago’s most charming neighborhoods during the annual Bucktown Garden Walk, returning for its 18th year on Saturday, July 9& Sunday, July 10, 2022! We are excited to celebrate with you!

For one special weekend, we come together in a celebration of nature and community. This unique event reflects and benefits the Bucktown neighborhood and highlights our local businesses. Bucktown residents open their personal green spaces and exclusive gardens to the public to showcase our neighborhood, with garden walkers from across the city and suburbs coming to view our urban gardens.

This year in 2022, we look to keep some of the unique aspects of the event developed over the past 2 years, while bringing back some of the features of past Garden Walks. We will have musicians playing music and artists creating art in gardens throughout Bucktown. We will even bring back the trolley to allow participants to move across Bucktown in an easy and fun way, while learning about unique aspects of Bucktown! Additionally, several anchor restaurants which will showcase music throughout the weekend and will serve as check-in points for participants. We will also sell $5 hardcopy guide books which will have a map, display our sponsors by each tier, and have QR codes to link participants to a digital page of sponsor links and deals.

Last year’s event drew over 2,000 visitors across Bucktown. Proceeds from the event are used directly to benefit neighborhood beautification projects, local parks, neighborhood schools, tree planting, green initiatives and our Bucktown Community Grant program.
