The building was built in 1923 shortly after the opening of King Tut’s Tomb and the Reebie brothers capitalized on Egyptomania. The building is one of the best examples of well-preserved polychrome terra cotta façade in a Egyptian theme featuring wonderful Ramses II statues with accurate hieroglyphics at the base.
