Steppenwolf’s LookOut Series Presents Chicago’s Late-Night Talk Show…
The Not That Late Show is a POC- and queer-led late-night talk show featuring an ensemble cast of Chicago comedians who debut brand-new material each month. Hosted by Justin Swinson, the show is typically staged at The Lincoln Lodge every third Wednesday, but for one night only, it will take over Steppenwolf as part of the LookOut Series. Each performance blends sharp comedy with live music from emerging local artists and interviews with some of Chicago’s most dynamic and influential voices.
Past guests have included State Senator Mike Simmons, activist Stephanie Skora of the Girl, I Guess Progressive Voter Guide, CODEPINK co-founder Medea Benjamin, and Mayor Brandon Johnson among others. This month’s special guest is Chicago’s own urban historian, Sherman “Dilla” Thomas.
