Elsa Lanchester: SHE’S ALIVE!

Elsa Lanchester, best known today as the iconic Bride of Frankenstein, was twice- Oscar nominated, appearing in such films as Mary Poppins, Witness for the Prosecution, Murder By Death, etc. Off-screen, she was married to the brilliant gay actor Charles Laughton for 30+ years. ELSA LANCHESTER: SHE’S ALIVE! recreates a bawdy cabaret/nightclub act that Lanchester toured with late in life — including some of the original ribald songs she performed — intermixed with backstage dish about her unconventional life.
