Boombox Brings Their “Drone Tour” to North America This November
This November, Ukrainian band Boombox will embark on a powerful North American tour, bringing their music, their story, and their spirit of resilience to audiences across Canada and the U.S.
Boombox are not just a rock band. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, they have become a voice of resistance and unity. Their frontman, Andriy Khlyvnyuk, put aside the stage and took up arms to defend his country. His voice — captured in a viral recording of a wartime folk song sung on the streets of Kyiv — later became the foundation for Pink Floyd’s track “Hey Hey Rise Up”, the band’s first new release in decades.
Audiences can expect a powerful live show, mixing fan favorites, emotional new material, and the raw energy that has made Boombox one of the most important bands in Eastern Europe.
Through their music, Boombox carries Ukraine’s story to the world — a story of struggle, resilience, and the unifying power of sound.
