Advocacy Meet-up Hosted by The James Beard Foundation

On behalf of The James Beard Foundation, we invite you to attend the JBF Advocacy Meet-up, hosted by our very own Anne McBride, PhD, VP of Impact, on the morning of Monday, June 16th, at the Kendall College Atrium in Chicago.

This event is an opportunity for chefs, restaurateurs, operators, and others who engage in advocacy work to share their success stories and challenges and realize the collective power of chefs, in a perfect combination of networking and action. You’ll also hear more about JBF’s impact work and ways to get involved.

No prior advocacy experience is needed to attend the Chef Advocacy Meet-up, only a desire to work with others on making our industry and the food system more equitable and sustainable for all. Representatives from advocacy groups are encouraged to attend, but priority for experience and opportunity sharing will be given to restaurant industry attendees.
