RICHARD SANDOVAL PLANS LATIN VERSION OF EATALY IN BLOCK 37
Chef and restaurateur Richard Sandoval, who owns 40 restaurants around the world, said he wants to open a Latin-themed version of Eataly on the third floor of Block 37, located in the Loop. The layout would be much smaller than the Italian emporium, but would have a similar feel that focuses on Latin food sold at 11 food stations. He aims to have the yet-to-be named food court open by December 2014.
