The 40-acre park located on the southern part of Northerly Island has opened, featuring a five-acre lagoon, 150 different species of plant life and a biking and pedestrian trail.

Located in the historic McGraw-Hill landmark building (in the former location of the Conrad Chicago), Starwood Hotels & Resorts debuted its newest Luxury Collection Hotel, The Gwen. This 300-room hotel on The Magnificent Mile is directly connected to The Shops at North Bridge, and it features three dining venues and more than 14,500 square feet of event space.

The 2014 marathon brought in more than $254 million to the local economy, and each year, the marathon attracts more new visitors to Chicago. The 2015 race takes place Sunday, October 11.

The 241-room Chicago Athletic Association hotel recently unveiled two new spaces, marking the completion of the hotel's extensive restoration. The former pool area (The Tank) and the gymnasium have both been reimagined into unique event spaces, where special programming will take place.
