LYRIC OPERA OF CHICAGO

Immortal music. Mesmerizing spectacle. Celebrated musicians. And the finest opera singers of our time.

Recognized around the world as one of today's most accomplished opera companies, the esteemed Lyric Opera of Chicago wows audiences with its world-class performers and performances, assisted by celebrated soprano Renée Fleming (pictured below), who serves as the Lyric's creative consultant.

The Civic Opera House itself was designed as a massive "throne" facing the Chicago River, and blends Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles to create the quintessence of opulence. Not only is this one of the city's best-loved historic landmarks, but it is also the second largest opera house in the country.
