Combination music, art, comedy, and theaterBlue Man Group is unlike any performance you've ever experienced. And if you're lucky enough to see it from the first few rows, it will hit you in more ways than one.

The thrilling, multi-sensory show is loved by all ages and its open run has just been kicked up another notch with new material, playing off technology with tablet computers of their own, "GiPads."

And you'll still see many of the signature elements of a Blue Man Group performance: Giant PVC tubing and tubs fill the stage and are used in imaginative ways. Brightly colored objects fly between cast members-and those in the audience sitting closest to the stage in what's known as the "poncho section." Different color liquids ooze from just about everywhere. And you'll never eat marshmallows the same way again after seeing a show.

The stars of Blue Man Group are, of course, the blue men. Bald blue heads always bobbing... bodies always in motion... facial expressions that communicate without talking... their act is self-described as "modern vaudeville." Paired with the spectacular visual effects and pulsating music, you'll be captivated from the start.

If you're wondering, audience participation is optional. However, once you see all the fun both on and off the stage, it'll be hard to stay uninvolved. And it would also be difficult to keep a straight face!

Wildly imaginative and truly original, these shows appeal to all ages and backgrounds. If you've never caught the Blue Man Group perform live, your stay in Chicago is the perfect chance.
