MAY 2016 - LONDONHOUSE

Hilton Worldwide announced in March 2015 the addition of LondonHouse to Curio - A Collection by Hilton, which will be located in Chicago's historic London Guarantee Building and new 22-story Modernist glass tower. LondonHouse will include approximately 25,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space comprised of two ballrooms and multiple meeting rooms, as well as what developer and manager Oxford Capital Group, LLC, believes to be Chicago's only tri-level hotel rooftop.   

AUGUST 2016 - KIMPTON GRAY HOTEL

Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group purchased the landmark New York Life Insurance building in the heart of the financial district and will convert it into a 281 room hotel, requiring a $106 million renovation.

FEBRUARY 2017 - 10,000-SEAT EVENT CENTER

The new 10,000-seat event center is part of the McCormick Place Entertainment District, a redevelopment plan to elevate the convention and trade show business. The event center serves as a general session hall for conventions and trade shows, a venue for concerts and special events, and as home court for DePaul University men's and women's basketball.

MAY 2017 - MARRIOTT MARQUIS CHICAGO

McCormick Place's newest addition is a 40-story, 1,200-room headquarters hotel that will be operated as a Marriott Marquis. The hotel will provide facilities and amenities required to serve as headquarters for groups at McCormick Place.

  • Sky bridge connecting hotel to the West building

SEPTEMBER 2017 - VICEROY HOTEL

Trader and developer Don Wilson has teamed with Viceroy Hotel Group to open a 180-room hotel in the heart of the Gold Coast. The project in the 18-story building on the Cedar Hotel site would include a rooftop pool and terrace. The hotel is slated to open in 2017. 

AUGUST 2018 - NOBU RESTAURANT AND HOTEL

The Nobu Restaurant and Hotel brand, co-founded by Robert De Niro, plans a location at the 12,000-square-foot space at 846-854 W. Randolph St.
