GHOST THE MUSICAL FIRST NATIONAL TOUR IN CHICAGO 2014
Chicago's Oriental Theatre will host the new Broadway
musical Ghost The Musical for its first national tour. The performance, adapted from the Academy
Award®-winning film, is set in modern day New York City and chronicles the
powerful love story of Sam and Molly, torn apart by death, but still connected
in the afterlife. Ghost The Musical, directed by Tony Award®-winner Matthew
Warchus, has been nominated for numerous awards and been enjoyed by millions of
people worldwide. It will play the Oriental Theatre for two weeks, January
7-19, 2014.
THOMPSON CHICAGO OPENS
The Thompson Chicago, located in the heart of the Gold Coast
neighborhood, opened its doors after being rebranded from the Sutton Place
property. The 247-room hotel is just steps from the Magnificent Mile, Oak
Street shopping and downtown. It offers 12,225 square feet of meeting and
pre-function space, private dining rooms and an on-site restaurant, NICO, and
lounge NICO Salone.

MOXEE COMES TO UNIVERSITY VILLAGE
Chicago welcomes another small-batch brewery to the scene
with the opening of Moxee, a new restaurant in University Village located at
724 W. Maxwell St. Named for Washington state's Moxee City, the new eatery and
nanobrewery will feature regional American fare and an in-house brewery called
Mad House Brewing. It will feature 120 seats inside, and 50 outdoor seats will
be added later.
