Reservations for the 9th Annual Chicago Restaurant Week, produced by Choose Chicago, open at 12 p.m. CST on Tuesday, January 5. The annual 14-day culinary celebration returns on Friday, January 22 and runs for two weeks through Thursday, February 4. Prix fixe menus begin at $22 for lunch and $33 and/or $44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). Dynamic offerings from a record 354 restaurants throughout the Chicago area, including 54 new participating restaurants are now available online at eatitupchicago.com. The site allows users to search for restaurants by cuisine, neighborhood, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and pairings by Goose Island Beer and Terlato Wines.
New to the Chicago Restaurant Week lineup this year are Appellation, The Blanchard, Cherry Circle Room, GreenRiver, Intro, Monteverde, Oyster Bah, Prime & Provisions and Seven Lions, to highlight a few.

Purchase tickets today for First Bites Bash, the official kick-off event for Chicago Restaurant Week. Tony Priolo, Executive Chef/Partner of Piccolo Sogno and Piccolo Sogno Due will host the highly-anticipated annual event on Thursday, January 21 at Union Station. A portion of the proceeds generated by ticket sales for First Bites Bash will benefit the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation. The Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation was founded by Chicago Cubs First Baseman Anthony Rizzo who realized during his own battle with cancer that no matter how difficult fighting cancer was for him, it was even more difficult for his family. The Foundation's mission is to raise money for cancer research and to provide support to children and their families battling the disease.
