Casati’s Modern Italian restaurant is owned by husband and wife Melanie & Stefano Casati in the heart of Lincoln Park. Stefano was born in Florence, Italy and moved with Melanie to Chicago 5 years ago, let’s call it “crazy, stupid, love” but that is where the culinary journey began…
Casati’s named a neighborhood “gem” by local diners has meshed light, fresh, and healthy food traditions of Florence into an array of dishes that excites and fills the bellies of all of our lovely neighbors. The restaurant has several rooms which include; bar seating, full dining room, private party dining area, or the outdoor garden patio.
The extensive wine list is hand-picked by Stefano and offers a balance between sweet and dry wines, allowing the best option for every wine lovers’ glass. For those who crave more of a crafted cocktail, give our top sellers – Adriatic Peach, What Got Kicked, & Italian Notebook – a try!
The menu offers lite, fresh, and healthy dishes true to Florentine cuisine, driven by the hometown of Stefano. One can expect truly authentic pastas, an array of fresh meat and fish dishes, and antipasti options all with ingredients either locally sourced or imported from Italy.
Casati’s boasts the “healthiest pizza in Chicago” being the first to market with “Pinsa” dough – 90% less fat, carbs, and gluten than traditional pizza! We look forward to welcoming you to our family table.
