Beacon Tavern offers dining in a rustic, casually-upscale setting steps from the Chicago
riverfront and the Magnificent Mile. Guests at Beacon Tavern enjoy spectacular city
views from our unique location, which includes an expansive outdoor patio that offers a
peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle on Michigan Avenue.
Beacon boasts both a lively bar area and an intimate dining room for quieter
conversation. Designed by Perkins & Will, the space is outfitted with soothing blueish
gray walls, dark green velvet upholstery and unexpected pops of plaid found on chairs
or on the decorative tile. A bacchanalia mural bookends the space while a double-sided
fireplace provides a striking visual from both the foyer and dining room. Outside,
there are patios on the east and south sides which offer stunning views of the city’s
legendary architecture including the iconic Wrigley Building.
Known as a “hidden gem” of Chicago’s dining scene, Beacon Tavern is nestled in the
walkway between the Wrigley Building and Trump Tower. Beacon is specifically located
at 405 N. Wabash Ave., in River Plaza between Wabash Avenue and Michigan Avenue.
