World Dumpling Fest

The Chicago Cultural Alliance is preparing to hold the fourth year of World Dumpling Fest on Saturday, September 9th (12:00-7:00pm) in Logan Square.

Over 10 vendors selling dumplings from different cultural traditions will convene on Milwaukee Avenue where it intersects Logan Square Park to sell Chinese bao, pierogi, Haitian doumbrey, empanadas, Filipino lumpia, Himalayan momos, South Asian samosas, and more.

Artists will perform a variety of dances and music from different cultural traditions on our main stage. The lineup includes Korean drumming, Indonesian gamelan music, South Asian dance, Puerto Rican bomba dancers, Filipino tinikling dancers, and others. Admission to World Dumpling Fest is free. Visitors can buy packs of tickets to sample a variety of dumplings. Visit the event website to take advantage of discounted Early Bird rates: 5-sampler pack for $25.00 / 10-sampler pack for $40.00.

We encourage visitors to picnic in Logan Square Park to enjoy their dumplings and the live cultural performances.
