Wheaton Art Walk: Wheaton, Illinois

The Wheaton Art Walk, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday, August 6 and 7, moves to a new location this year – West Liberty Drive and Hale Street in beautiful downtown Wheaton! Hosted in conjunction with the Downtown Wheaton Association, the Wheaton Art Walk features nearly 100 juried artists from around the country in a variety of mediums including ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, painting, sculpture and more! In addition to the incredible artwork available for purchase, attendees will be able to interact with artists through demonstrations and booth chats. Youth art projects, face painting, kids’ art bingo and other activities make this a fun event for the entire family! Admission is free and there is plenty of nearby free parking. The show is also wheelchair and stroller accessible. Attendees are invited to bring their gently used wall art to the festival where it will be donated to the Chicago Furniture Bank, a local nonprofit that distributes furnishings and art to those leaving shelters and moving into permanent housing. Several artists from this show are participating in Amdur Productions’ Green Ribbon Project. Artists place a green ribbon on a piece of art in their booth, and if the piece is sold, 10% of the sale will be donated to Amdur’s 2022 charitable partner, Make-A-Wish Illinois. For more information, contact Amdur Productions at 847-926-4300.
