Performing at the Center on Halsted, We Are the Change! highlights the voice and legacy of Chicago’s own innovator of American Jazz Dance, Joel Hall. Held in conjunction with the Juneteenth holiday and Pride Fest, We Are the Change! elevates Joel Hall Dancers’ identity as Chicago’s inclusive home for BIPOC and  LGBTQIA+ professional dancers and dance enthusiasts, in line with Joel Hall Dancers & Center’s mission to “awaken the dancer in everyone’s soul!”
