WBEZ Presents: World Within a Song – An Evening of Words and Music with Jeff Tweedy

Jeff Tweedy’s songwriting has woven itself tightly into the lives of his fans around the world. In his newest book, World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music, the longtime Chicago musician reflects on 50 songs that have inspired his own work with Wilco, Uncle Tupelo, and as a solo artist.

He will be joined by Peter Sagal, host of NPR’s “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me”, for an intimate conversation about the transportive power of music with a few acoustic performances by Tweedy, portraying his vast and revered catalog.

All ticket holders will receive a pre-signed copy of World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music before they hit bookshelves on Nov 7.

A limited number of event posters designed by Chicago-based illustrator Ryan Duggan and signed by Jeff Tweedy will be available for purchase online.
