Water Colors – Free Jazz Series
  • For the second consecutive year, Navy Pier is set to host Water Colors, a free, weekly live jazz music series presented in partnership with the Jazz Institute of Chicago. The series will be held select dates from July 6 through August 24 at 6:30 pm at the Lake Stage in Polk Bros Park.
Enjoy 90-minute sets by local jazz musicians, from emerging talent to established artists, along Chicago’s treasured lakefront. This year’s lineup features reinvented brass band music fused with hip-hop, freedom songs through the jazz lens, classic New Orleans jazz, big-band tributes, young bebop players, afro-beat music from Lagos, renowned jazz vocalists, and one of the best up-and-coming trumpet players in the world.
