The Yale Whiffenpoofs in Concert, March 23

The Whiffenpoofs are America’s oldest and best-known collegiate a cappella group, composed of 14 Yale seniors who take a full year off from classes to sing and travel the world as a professional musical ensemble. Since our founding in 1909, the Whiffenpoofs have brought our characteristic white tie and tails, our enthusiasm & humor, and our diverse repertoire of vocal jazz, folk, pop, & Broadway hits to more than 200 audiences each year across all 6 inhabited continents. In past years, the Whiffs have sung for Presidents Obama, Bush (41 and 43), Clinton, and Reagan, and at venues including Carnegie Hall, Broadway’s Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. We’ve even been featured on television shows such as “The Sing-Off,” “The West Wing,” and “Glee”!

We’re so excited to be visiting Chicago, the hometown of member Joshua Gonzalez, this spring from March 21 to 23! Catch us in concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at St. Norbert & Our Lady of the Brook Parish in Northbrook.
