The Banned Books Wagon
The Banned Wagon from Penguin Random House (PRH) is on tour and stopping at the Chicago Public Library (Woodson Regional Branch) this FRIDAY!
At each stop a menu of 20 challenged or banned books for any age is available for attendees to choose one for free to take home.
In addition to the Wagon’s visit, the Woodson Regional Library will also be offering the community:
- Maker Lab activities with totes to decorate with stickers and pins
- Photo Booth
- Banned Book Jeopardy for teams and spectating
- Freedom Tales with Mama Edie
- Archival Review with literacy advocate and children’s librarian Charlemae Hill Rollins
