TEMPEST

Proboscis Theatre Company presents TEMPEST as part of the first ever Ol’Factory Festival of Physical Theatre. In this new adaptation of Shakespeare’s The Tempest.  Co-Artistic Director Ashlea Woodley leads a cast of eight women through a journey from isolation to community via Shakespeare’s text and stories from their own lives. This highly physical, intimate show is “such stuff as dreams are made on” and includes all the ingredients of great theatre- drama, powerful language, impeccable storytelling, masks, puppetry, and live music – all synthesized in a highly entertaining and achingly beautiful performance.
