Soundtrack x Afrotrak | Mike Orie

Contemporary sound-based artists transform your MCA experience on a select day of the month with custom soundtracks reflecting their perspective of works on view in the museum. DJ sets and bands occupy spaces in the museum as the building itself amplifies their sound constructions.

Kicking off a full day of gathering, collaboration, and community, Afrotrak’s Founder and Creative Director Mike “Orie” Mosley brings the energy with a DJ set in response to Black x Art. Known for highlighting worldly sounds such as Amapiano, Afrobeats, and more, Orie has created platforms for belonging using black artistry and sound as a way to build community across the country.
