This world premiere production tells the true story of a deep and enduring relationship that developed between George Bernard Shaw, the celebrated Irish playwright, and Gene Tunney, the American world heavyweight boxing champion.
It begins with their first meeting in London and culminates on an island in the Adriatic, where Gene and Polly Lauder Tunney spend their honeymoon. What is the remarkable event that they experience that changes all of their lives forever?
Presented in two acts, with one fifteen minutes intermission. Performance time: Two and 1/2 hours.
