Program to include trios by contemporary Chicago composers including Augusta Read Thomas and world-premiere recordings of music by Stacy Garrop, Shulamit Ran, and a new commission by Shawn E. Okpebholo.
The International Music Foundationpresents Rush Hour Concerts, the best of Chicago-based classical artists in chamber music performances at St. James Cathedral (65 E Huron Street, Chicago). The series of 45 minute concerts is held on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer (June-August) at 5:45 p.m. Reservations are no longer required to attend. Masking will be optional. Join us in person or online on July 26 at 5:45 pm for The Lincoln Trio in music by various composers. Doors open at 5:00 pm and pre-talk begins at 5:15 pm. Concerts will also be streamed from our website.
