Isabella Leonarda – Sonata a Violino Solo, Op. 16 No. 12

Joseph Bodin de Boismortier – Cello Sonata in E minor Op. 50 No. 1

George Frideric Handel – Violin Sonata in D Major, HWV 371

 

The International Music Foundation presents Rush Hour Concerts, the best of Chicago-based classical artists in chamber music performances at St. James Cathedral (65 E Huron Street, Chicago). The series of 45 minute concerts is held on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer (June-August) at 5:45 p.m.  Reservations are required to attend.  Visit the International Music Foundation website for more information.

Join us July 27 at 5:45 pm for baroque violinist, Kiyoe Matsuura, baroque cellist, Cora Swenson Lee, and harpsichordist, Jason J. Moy in music by Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, Isabella Leonarda, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier and George Frideric Handel. Concerts will also be streamed from ourwebsite.
