Ripcord

Ripcord is a comedic play by David Lindsay-Abaire that revolves around the rivalry between two vastly different roommates in an assisted living facility. Abby, cantankerous and sardonic in nature, is determined to keep the room to herself, while Marilyn uses her optimistic and cheerful wiles to try to befriend her. The two proceed to engage in a series of escalating pranks and challenges as they battle for control of their shared room. Along the way they confront their deepest fears, and form an unlikely friendship.
