Ravenswood ArtWalk: 20th Annual Tour of Arts & Industry
The ultimate end-of-summer festival returns to Chicago’s northside with the 20th Annual Ravenswood Artwalk on Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th. The Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) partners with the historic Ravenswood Industrial Corridor for a weekend that showcases the bustling hub of artisans, manufacturers, and brewers unlike anyplace else in the city!
Each year, over 10,000 visitors explore the Ravenswood ArtWalk, enjoying a weekend of art, music, food, and community while getting a peek inside the spaces that help define Ravenswood. “RAW” features open studios and galleries, pop-up performances and activations, live music, an Outdoor Artist Market, a Children’s Corner, and a pop-up Beer Garden.
A few highlights of the ArtWalk include:
- Outdoor Arts Market & Beer Garden (Ravenswood & Berteau): features over 40 local artists, food from El Zorro Tacos, Sausage Fest Truck, Hilary’s Cookies, and more, beer from Begyle Brewing, and a non-alcoholic beverage tent benefiting the Friendship Center Food Pantry.
- Big Teeth Productions’ 60 Second Film Festival: an entire festival that can be viewed in less than 15 minutes! Screen multiple one-minute films all inspired by famous works of art.
- The Hive Dance Classes (Ravenswood & Berteau): Join The Hive Dance Studio for drop-in classes all weekend long! They will be hosting kids’ activities along with a variety of free dance classes including jazz funk, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, and more. Plus, catch The Colony youth performances at 2:45pm both days!
The Ravenswood ArtWalk is Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th from 11AM – 6PM. A $5 donation is suggested and the drinks tents are cash only (ATMs available on-site). The event entrance is at Ravenswood & Berteau and stretches from Lawrence to Irving Park.
