Poetry Off the Shelf: Chicago Modernism with Daniel Borzutzky and Rachel Galvin
Howard Frazin, Keith Phares, and Linda Osborn present an original song cycle, Letting Go, in remembrance of Donald Hall.
Howard Frazin works have been commissioned and performed by many leading ensembles including A Far Cry, Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston, and Boston Classical Orchestra. His works are published by Edition Peters and recorded on Ravello Records and MSR Classics.
Keith Phares recent appearances include Kynaston in Carlisle Floyds latest opera, Prince of Players (recorded for Naxos Records) with Florentine Opera and Gasparo in Rita with Chicago Opera Theatre. He has appeared in leading roles with Los Angeles Opera, New York City Opera, and elsewhere.
Pianist Linda Osborn has performed extensively across the United States and in Europe as both a chamber musician and vocal accompanist. Ms. Osborn serves as Director of Artistic Operations for Odyssey Opera and as Principal Pianist for the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, named Musical Americas Ensemble of the Year for 2016.
