All shows are pay-what-you can! If you’d like to pay a price that isn’t listed, Venmo @ClashonClark or just come on in at the door! You’re welcome to come to a show for free. In the case of a full-house, priority will be given to those who purchased tickets in advance.

February 1st: Open Nose Showcase

Every week., Clash on Clark has an Open Nose, where clowns can come try out their works-in-progress. We’ve chosen some of the best pieces that we’ve seen over the month to perform in a showcase! Come watch some pure silliness as we see some of Clash on Clark’s best clowns refine their material. Interested in performing at the Open Nose showcase? Just come to the Open Nose on Tuesday nights and keep trying stuff!

February 8th: Double Trouble Show

What’s better than watching a clown do something amazing once? Watching them do it twice! In this show, we’ll have clowns bring in their best pieces or works-in-progress. Then, audience members will give them feedback, suggestions, or terrible ideas to incorporate before they do their piece a second time. Whether the advice the audience gives is good or bad, the clown will have to roll with it and hopefully discover something magical.

February 15th: Help Me Help You Help Yourself

Come check out Clown Thursday’s first solo show spotlight by Danny Wightkin! Winner of the 2019 Elgin Fringe Audience Choice Award, 2022 Cincy Fringe Producer’s Award, and 2022 Staff Pick at Minnesota Fringe, “Help Me Help You Help Yourself” is mindless, silly fun for human beings aged 4 to 104. Join the clown Your Silent Partner for a nonsensical hour of pure entertainment.

February 22nd: Clown Petting Zoo

It’s exactly what it sounds like. Clowns become animals, and you get to pet and feed them! We don’t want to spoil too much for you, but it’s going to be a wild show filled with animal hijinks.

February 29th: Pieces we’ll remember in 4 years

It’s Leap Day! And it just so happens to fall on Clown Thursday? This means the pressure is ON. Several clowns in Chicago need to perform a piece that you’ll remember in 4 years. If you’re not looking back next Leap Day and wishing you were with the clowns again, then we haven’t done our job.

Chicago Theatre Week is a program of the League of Chicago Theatres in partnership with Choose Chicago.
